The Amazing Saxophone


Candy Dulfer is a renowned saxophonist. She began playing saxophone at an early age of six. She has done well for herself at an early stage of life. She played her first solo performance with the band The Perils. The Perils or De Perikels is the band of her father, Hans Dulfer. Her father was a respected musician who also plays saxophone. Dulfer had her first single in the album I Didn’t Ask. She had her own band Funky Stuff at the age of fourteen, because of her talent in playing the sax she became the leader of the band.

She released her debut album, Saxuality on 1990. It reached gold status worldwide and was even a nominee for Grammy Award. On 1997, the album For the Love of You was launched. It is her fourth album and became the most top hit in the United States of America. Most of her self titled album and singles reached the top and became a hit. Her song Finsbury Park, Café 67 gained the first slot in the Jazz chart. It is the smooth jazz song that was played in the whole United States for many times. In 2007, the album Candy Store by Dulfer was expectedly becamea chart-topping album in the Contemporary Chart of jazz.

Candy Dulfer had a several tours all over the world like United States of America, Baltic States and Canada, Italy and France. She performed in the festivals of many countries, Montreux Jazz Festival, Gurten Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, Vienne Festival and European Festival. The success in her career continued, she had many shows and guesting in other countries. She performed with Jason Miles, a famous and great musician that has received multiple awards in Grammy. Candy Dulfer became an in demand musician. She was given a television show entitled Candy Meets, featured on primetime. At present Dulfer is continually having a collaboration of album that was intended to be released in some time of 2013.
